Cross the plains, the fucking sky
The promised land catches your eye
I’m not your puppet, so you can die
You were my hero, you were a lie
If I gave you everything would you stop? Would you ponder?
If I helped your hated ways would you wait? Would you wait?
You don’t know my past
The rage contains us, let it breath
Right now, no need to try
My hand is steady I took what’s mine
You were my puppet, your death is near
There’s no way for it, you can’t live sincere
Could you cross the plains before you reach the promised land X 2
You don’t know my past
The rage contains us, let it breath
You don’t know my past

Where are your morals?
…Your values?
I’m exhausted thinking about you
I’ll paint a portrait
…for you to view
With no control for you’ve previously drew
I can’t take this on my own
To see you cheapen
Every aspect that I’ve known
To see you weaken
You’re in my hair
You’re in my clothes
From my head to my toes
You’re in my roots
You’re in my boots
The greatest snake ever known
If I asked you what love were, would you care?
Petrify me unaided with a single stare
So go and join the great unwashed
Give into pleasure
There’s a snake in my boot

They say we’re getting older
And time is changing quick
The weight is on your shoulders
The sun will, play its trick
Creases you can’t iron
You can thank time and space
My mind remains quite youthful
Thoughts sealed in my case
I used to play with toys
But now I play with girls
Lets sing it too the boys
Lets shout it too the world
I will resist change because that’s who I am
One by one they all fall and I’m still standing
So give it up for me
So give it up
So give it up for me
Kids we’re getting younger
Can you feel it, can you feel it?
With our minds immature
Our candles are lit, candles are lit
Lose your humour too this working world
And do every single thing you’re told
They say we’re getting younger
The sun is turning back
The weight is off our shoulders
The sun is setting now
They say we’re getting younger
Time is turning back
The weight is off our shoulders
The sun is setting now
They say we’re getting older
And time is changing quick
The weight is on your shoulders
The sun will, play its trick
I regret to inform you that every good story always has an end
As time takes its toll and changes us all we’ll never make amends
Rock the boat
Times are changing
Let them know
The game we’re playing
The game we’re playing
Kids we’re getting younger
Can you feel it, can you feel it?
With our minds immature
Our candles are lit, candles are lit
Lose your humour too this working world
And do every single thing you’re told
They say we’re getting younger
The sun is turning back
The weight is off our shoulders
The sun is setting now
Lose your humour too this working world
And do every single thing you’re told
They say we’re getting younger
The sun is turning back
The weight is off our shoulders
The sun is setting now
They say we’re getting older
And time is changing quick
The weight is on your shoulders
The sun will, play its trick

Conquer The Decade Cardiff, UK
Post-hardcore vocals matched with heavy rock of a more traditional bent: this has some highly kinetic riffing, and a very deep, full, crunchy sound, but there’s a distinctly bluesy, funky cast to the guitar parts. It still sounds like contemporary post-hardcore, but this is a band with a refreshingly individual sound. ★★★★ LiveUnsigned.com ... more
